Jester's Fair

Jester’s Fair is an event which takes plays annually usually in September. The main purpose for this event is charity: to raise some money for many kids in the orphanages and have fun at the same time. It is an outdoor fair provided mostly for the entertainment of children on a Sunday afternoon.

I was aiming to have a notable contribution to the charity by participating in various activities.

The colorful and joyful atmosphere didn’t allow us to think about the hot weather.  There were small shops all around that place, where we could buy some drinks, food, bracelets and toys, and all the money would go to charity. Firstly I paid for a ball to played football. I was really tired after that though. I also sold more than 8 concert tickets and raised 1500 baht. I was happy that I was reaching my aim, and being a part of the fundraising event.  Besides, I played some games and even won prizes (a teddy bear and a necklace).

It was really good to see so many people from my school in that fair. We had a really good time there, enjoying all the different performances that local children had prepared.

 In the end of the day I was quite happy because firstly I helped to raise money for charity and secondly I had a good opportunity to spend that day with my friends, enjoying all the interesting and various activities.
