“Blood Brothers” was an amazing performance and I enjoyed taking part in it! It was a special and very important for me as it was the first big performance that I played. Though I didn't have lots of major roles but it didn’t matter, I like being on the stage even for just two minutes.! I like all my parts because there were various and quite different from each other.
What did I do? What difficulties did encounter?
We had to perform for 2 days. At the first day I was really nervous. I was scared that I was going to forget all my words, As I have many little roles during each scene I had to imagine myself in that different situation so I could play better and more naturally. This made it even harder. In the end of the first day of the performance I was not really satisfied of my performance, and I realized that I didn’t meet my goals yet. The second day was the last opportunity for me to do my best, and reach my objectives.Second day I was feeling much confident, which was maybe because I had already a small experience on the stage. Those two hours I fully lived and enjoyed the play.
What did I achieve?
Besides having fun and just enjoying the play I learnt lots of new things as well. I gained more confidence on the stage, improved my acting skills and also learnt a little bit of singing techniques. Moreover I did a little directing for the play. I myself worked on some scenes with the actors. Throughout the play I could see my self developing as a reflective and a risk taker person. “Blood Brothers” was a great experience and opportunity to show my drama skills and to know what I’m doing right and what do I need to improve. I also reached my goals that I had set before the performance.
